WE ARE HIRING – GENERAL MANAGER Empire Works Pte Ltd is looking for an experienced and capable General Manager to lead our growing team, strengthen our management structure, and improve the way our company operates. We are looking for a strong leader who can manage people, develop strategies, build effective systems, improve workflows, and drive execution across the company . Key Requirements: • Minimum 10 years of management experience • Proven experience managing a workforce of more than 30 staff • Strong leadership and people management capabilities • Proven ability to develop and implement business and operational strategies • Strong experience in setting up systems, processes, SOPs, and workflows • Able to identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions • Able to streamline workflows between departments to improve productivity and efficiency • Experienced in setting up KPIs, reporting structures, accountability systems, and performance standards • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills • Able to manage department heads and build a strong leadership structure • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to turn strategy into execution Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the company’s overall operations and workforce management • Lead and manage a team of more than 30 employees • Develop and execute strategies to improve business performance and operational efficiency • Review existing workflows and identify gaps, duplication, delays, and inefficiencies • Design and implement better systems, SOPs, processes, and cross-department workflows • Improve coordination and communication between departments • Establish clear reporting structures, KPIs, and accountability frameworks • Build systems that allow the company to scale efficiently as it grows • Manage staff performance, discipline, development, and retention • Work closely with Directors and Management on company strategy and growth plans • Ensure strategies are properly implemented, monitored, and continuously improved • Build a strong, accountable, positive, and performance-driven company culture Industry Experience: • Renovation or interior design experience is NOT required • Candidates from other industries with strong management, leadership, strategy, and operational experience are welcome to apply • Experience in managing growing SMEs, multi-department operations, or companies undergoing expansion will be an advantage Working Location: 784 Upper Bukit Timah Road, Singapore Company: Empire Works Pte Ltd We are looking for someone who does not simply maintain existing operations.
