About this role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality dishes while ensuring consistency, food safety, and efficient kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present menu items in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and quality standards. Plan and organise daily kitchen operations to ensure timely food preparation and service. Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to maintain consistency. Supervise and guide kitchen staff, providing training and support where required. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety in compliance with food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels, order ingredients, and minimise food wastage through proper stock control. Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal menu updates. Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition. Work closely with the restaurant management team to deliver an excellent dining experience. Perform any other duties assigned by management. Requirements Relevant culinary qualification or equivalent professional experience. At least 2 years of experience as a Chef in a restaurant or commercial kitchen. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Leadership and team management skills. Good organisational and time management abilities.
