Automation Tester Manager

Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 automation engineers across regression and performance testing functions. Develop, implement, and govern quality assurance strategies, frameworks, standards, and best practices across software development projects. Oversee the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing. Drive test automation adoption and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, increase efficiency, and reduce testing cycle times. Establish and monitor quality metrics, test coverage, defect trends, and release readiness criteria. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and governance policies. Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Development teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure adequate test coverage. Provide testing estimates, resource planning, and risk assessments for project delivery. Support Agile and DevOps practices, actively participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Identify opportunities for process optimization and AI-assisted testing solutions to improve productivity and testing effectiveness. Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a strong quality-first culture and continuous learning environment. Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align quality objectives with business goals. Drive root cause analysis and defect prevention initiatives to enhance product stability and customer satisfaction. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation. Proven experience leading and managing testing or automation teams in enterprise-scale environments. Demonstrated expertise in test planning, estimation, defect management, quality governance, and release management. Experience mentoring teams and leading quality transformation initiatives. Strong hands-on experience with test automation and performance testing tools such as: Tricentis Tosca , NeoLoad , Selenium , API testing tools (e.g., Postman , ReadyAPI ) Solid understanding of software development methodologies including Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD practices. Experience with test management, quality metrics reporting, and automation framework governance. Knowledge of configuration management, risk management, process validation, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with cloud-based and enterprise application testing environments. Exposure to AI-assisted testing solutions and productivity tools is highly desirable. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive quality-focused outcomes. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
