Purchasing Assistant (Japanese Speaking)

[Job ID:1657481] Responsibilities Translate Japanese product labels, specifications, and related documents into English. Maintain and update product master data, purchasing records, and product information databases. Verify product details, including ingredients, nutritional information, packaging specifications, and other product-related information. Assist in reviewing regulatory requirements and compliance documentation for food products. Prepare, maintain, and organise import and export documentation. Coordinate with overseas offices, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding product information and documentation. Maintain accurate purchasing records and related documentation. Provide administrative and operational support to the Purchasing team. Requirements Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Food Science, or a related discipline . Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders. Ability to read and understand Japanese documents and product labels. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic formula functions. Previous administrative experience is preferred. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
