Facilities Engineer

[Job ID: 1648955] Responsibilities Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of PLC and industrial control systems to ensure reliable plant operations. Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maximize equipment uptime. Support and coordinate automation enhancement, system upgrade, and improvement projects from planning through implementation. Diagnose system faults, perform root cause analysis, and recommend effective technical solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, system reliability, and process performance. Coordinate and supervise external contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards. Ensure all maintenance and project activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Hands-on experience with Siemens and/or Mitsubishi PLC systems. Familiarity with ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems such as fire alarm, public address, access control, or CCTV systems. Experience working with field instruments, sensors, transmitters, and industrial control devices. Knowledge of electrical power distribution, control panels, and electrical systems will be an advantage. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
