Engineer - Technical & Construction [Japanese Speaking]

[Job ID:1162426] Responsibilities: Oversee project execution, scheduling, and progress monitoring across assigned construction activities. Prepare project reports in Japanese for headquarters reporting. Supervise subcontractors and site personnel, assign work tasks, and maintain accurate site progress records. Coordinate with the design team to review, clarify, and resolve design-related matters. Liaise with relevant project stakeholders to facilitate inspections and site compliance activities. Ensure all works are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. Monitor and follow up on defect rectification and quality improvement measures. Track manpower deployment and project progress against schedules. Prepare and compile project handover documentation, including O&M manuals and relevant quality certification requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders. Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
