Freight Operations Executive (1 Year Contract Renewable)

[Job ID: 1645389] Responsibilities Monitor freight market trends, carrier rates, and service developments to support competitive sourcing strategies Develop and manage relationships with carriers and logistics partners to secure favourable commercial terms Support annual freight tenders, including bid evaluation, negotiations, and contract implementation Drive logistics cost optimisation while ensuring stable production and shipment planning Coordinate with internal stakeholders and international affiliates to align operational requirements Resolve operational issues and contribute to continuous process improvements Collect, validate, and consolidate logistics data for reporting and forecasting Prepare shipment reports, volume forecasts, and maintain freight rate databases Generate reports, presentations, and market intelligence updates for stakeholders Execute weekly payment processes and support monthly financial closing activities Verify billing accuracy, freight charges, and supporting documentation Liaise with IT teams on system enhancements, troubleshooting, and bidding platform maintenance Support system and process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy Assist with departmental initiatives and ad hoc tasks as assigned Requirements Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field 1–2 years of experience in logistics, preferably within shipping lines or NVOCC environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience in freight rate analysis, reporting, and data management Familiarity with Incoterms is an added advantage Experience using SAP or other ERP systems is an added advantage To Apply, please kindly email your updated resume to cv_gary@goodjobcreations.com.sg Please kindly refer to the Privacy Policy of Good Job Creations for your reference: https://goodjobcreations.com.sg/en/privacy-policy/ We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
