Job Summary Support safety management in building and construction projects by ensuring compliance with statutory safety, health, and environmental standards and coordinating with stakeholders to maintain a safe work environment. Responsibilities Assist the Safety Manager in managing safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters to ensure project compliance with statutory obligations and aerodrome safety standards Oversee health, safety, and environmental controls to ensure all work follows established procedures and instructions Coordinate with stakeholders, authorities, agencies, and consultants engaged by the developer to facilitate safety compliance Prepare and submit daily situation reports documenting site safety status and incidents Conduct daily health, safety, and environmental inspections, generate detailed reports, and follow up with the Project Safety Team and contractors to close out issues Perform investigations on accidents and near-miss incidents, documenting findings accurately on required forms Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and strictly adhere to all safety procedures and requirements on site Implement and monitor safety measures in compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and the project’s Safety Management System Identify and highlight training or certification needs to meet legislative standards, Approved Codes of Practice, or Health, Safety, and Environmental guidance Required competencies and certifications Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM (Ministry of Manpower) Experience developing a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years working with a developer or main contractor
