Role Summary The Finance/Account Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting records, supporting financial reporting, and providing analytical insight to strengthen business decision-making. The role works closely with internal stakeholders to maintain strong financial controls, manage receivables/payables, and support overall financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Operations Handle daily accounting functions including AR/AP, billing, invoicing, receipts, payment and staff claim processing. Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions in the accounting system. Maintain proper documentation and adherence to internal financial policies. 2. Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports. Support month-end and year-end closing activities (journal entries, reconciliations, accruals). Assist in variance analysis, cost tracking, and budget vs actual performance review. 3. Accounts Receivable & Collections Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers for timely payments. Prepare aging reports and conduct credit control checks. Liaise with sales teams regarding billing disputes or collection issues. 4. Accounts Payable Management Process vendor invoices and employee expense claims in compliance with company policies. Maintain accurate records of payable schedules and ensure timely disbursements. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies. 5. Audit, Compliance & Control Support internal and external audit requirements. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements. Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets. 6. Stakeholder Support Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, HR, Procurement). Provide financial data or insights required for cross-functional decision-making. Assist management with ad-hoc financial projects, forecasts, and analysis. 7. Stock Take Exercise Perform annual stock take exercise in office and third-party warehouse. Reconcile the variances between physical count and system record. 8. Adhoc Support Support any adhoc duties as assigned by superior. Key Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Preferable with audit experience and familiar with financial regulation as compliance. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (such as pivot table, vlookup & etc) and experience in Sage 300 / ACCPAC accounting software. Experience with Power BI is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
