Kitchen & Store Assistant (Senior-Friendly, Light Duties)

Raja's Catering (part of the Alangkaar group) is one of Singapore's established Indian wedding and events caterers. We are hiring senior-friendly Kitchen & Store Assistants — the duties are deliberately light by design (no heavy lifting stations). Mature jobseekers are welcome and encouraged to apply. Full training is provided; no experience or formal qualifications needed. This role is intended for support under the WSG Career Conversion Programme (CCP); programme funding eligibility requires Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident status. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Light kitchen preparation: vegetables, garnishes, marinades. - Portioning, packing and plating of cooked food for events and deliveries. - Store and inventory keeping: receive goods, check against orders, shelve and record. - Keep prep and store areas clean and audit-ready. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Hygienic, steady hands, reliable; comfortable in a kitchen environment. - Able to stand for stretches with regular breaks; no experience needed — we train. WHAT YOU'LL GET - Deliberately senior-friendly duties (light prep and packing, not heavy stations); meals during shifts. - Structured 2-month training plan with a confirmed wage increment on completion; WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 sponsored. - CPF contributions; annual leave, medical leave and overtime per the Employment Act.
