Senior Accountant (Commercial & Project Finance) Industry: Engineering / Industrial Solutions / Technical Services Location: Singapore Working Days: 5 Days Overview Our client is an established business within the engineering and industrial services sector. They are seeking an experienced and hands-on finance professional to support financial reporting, project accounting, budgeting, and compliance activities while partnering with key stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities Manage month-end and year-end financial closing activities and ensure timely preparation of management reports. Prepare financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and supporting schedules. Support annual budgeting and forecasting exercises, including performance tracking and variance analysis. Partner with operational and project teams to monitor project financial performance, profitability, and cost controls. Review project expenditures and provide insights to improve financial efficiency and decision-making. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, corporate tax, audit, and regulatory reporting. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and relevant authorities. Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy. Assist management with financial analysis, business initiatives, and ad-hoc projects as required. Requirements Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience in a commercial environment. Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance. Experience in project accounting, cost analysis, or business partnering will be advantageous. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is preferred. Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
