Furniture Upholsterer

Job Description Upholster sofas, chairs and other furniture using fabric, leather and synthetic materials. Measure, cut and fit upholstery materials according to design specifications. Install foam, padding, springs and cushioning materials. Repair, reupholster and restore damaged furniture. Inspect finished products to ensure workmanship and quality standards. Maintain upholstery tools, equipment and a clean work area. Work closely with the production team to complete orders on schedule. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor. Job Requirements At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Furniture Upholsterer. Skilled in sofa upholstery using fabric, leather and other upholstery materials. Able to measure, cut and fit materials accurately. Good knowledge of upholstery tools and furniture production processes. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Able to work independently and meet production deadlines. Willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required.
