Senior Accounts Executive

About the role JPN Industrial Trading Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Finance team in the West Region on a full-time basis . This is a strategic position within our Financial Accounting & Reporting division, where you will play a crucial role in managing key client relationships and ensuring the highest standards of financial reporting and compliance. You will be responsible for overseeing complex accounting matters in Malaysia and serving as a trusted advisor to our most valued clients, directly contributing to the growth and success of our organisation. Key responsibilities Manage and maintain strong relationships with assigned client accounts, serving as their primary point of contact for all accounting and financial reporting needs Prepare, review and deliver comprehensive financial statements, management accounts and statutory reports in accordance with accounting standards Oversee the completion of full accounting cycles including journal entries, reconciliations, period-end close processes and balance sheet analysis Provide technical accounting guidance and explanations to clients regarding their financial position, variances and accounting treatments Ensure all client work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements, conducting thorough reviews of deliverables before submission Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, streamline processes and expand service offerings to existing clients Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing training, guidance and performance feedback Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate smooth audit processes and tax compliance matters Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, regulations and best practices relevant to client industries Prepare accurate and timely invoicing and manage client billing queries and account reconciliations What we're looking for A relevant professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent recognised certification Minimum 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably gained within an accounting firm or in-house finance team Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel) Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly to clients and internal stakeholders Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and prioritise workload effectively What we offer JPN Industrial Trading Pte Ltd is committed to supporting the wellbeing and professional development of our employees.
