Patient Service Associate

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SPECIFIC 1) Receives and greets patients who come for diagnostic radiological examinations. 2) Registers patients manually or electronically into the SAP and RIS. 3) Prints out patients’ identification labels and bills patients accordingly. 4) Schedule appointment for inpatients and outpatients. 5) Receives and sorts out request forms from the wards/appointment cases 6) Assists in advising and directing patients who require financial assistance and counselling 7) Maintains cleanliness of work areas and immediate spot cleaning when cleaners are not available at hand. 8) Ensures that request forms are duly completed with complete information such as patient’s particulars, doctor’s signatures etc. 9) Prepares and summarizes the daily cash collection before handling over to the CISCO agency for banking. 10) Responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of stationery requirements and topping up of brochures in all waiting areas. GENERAL 1) To attend to telephone calls, fax and other enquiries 2) To participate in corporate events whenever necessary 3) To undertake any other duties as directed by the radiographers and department nurses 4) Embrace continuous improvements as our way of life by improving and refining work performance on a daily basis. 5) To assist in Appointment making and to communicate to patients via phone calls, SMS or emails in regard to their Diagnostic Appointment. 6) To call and market outsourcing of patient's scan to either patient or their NOK and retrieve necessary updated patient details for facilitation of outsourcing. 7) To check on work queues and initiate cold calling as per above. 8) To schedule agreeable patient scans with external partners, and update hospital's systems. 9) To monitor external partner group chats, for patient rescheduling notifications and queries, and update or escalate accordingly. 10) To perform end-day billing of completed scans at external partner's facilities and print out order requests to facilitate RG's uploading process. JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE · Completed ‘O’/’N’ Level Certificate · Good communication and interpersonal skills · Working knowledge of computer · Those with ITE certificates and knowledge in MS Words and MS Excel will be an advantage · Relevant work experience preferred
