Assistant Director (Digital)

You support the development of future defence concepts in digital and Artificial Intelligence (AI) domains, as well as the master-planning of Research & Development (R&D) and experimentation to realise game-changing future concepts. - Develop future defence concepts - Plan and drive R&D and experimentation initiatives - Coordinate with DSTA and DSO partners - Manage local and overseas stakeholder relationships - Monitor technological trends - Identify collaborative opportunities - Prepare reports and manage project implementation Challenge(s) - Justifying disruptive concepts which will requires a mindset change, takes time to realise and carries technical and programme risks - Keeping current with rapidly evolving technology trends - Identifying collaborative opportunities both locally and internationally - At least 6 years of working experience in technical domains, digital and AI expertise is preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical thinking abilities - Good time management skills - Highly motivated and work well under pressure Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
