Manager (Volunteer Engagement & Partnerships)

You plan and implement policies and strategies to encourage volunteerism for defence, as part of broader efforts to enhance commitment to defence and commitment to Singapore. - Develop frameworks and plans for volunteer partnerships and engagement for the Singapore Defence Volunteer Network - Encourage volunteers to contribute and advocate for the security and success of Singapore - Work closely with stakeholders and partners from MINDEF/SAF departments and units, as well as the private, public, and people (3P) sectors to support relevant policies and engagement efforts Challenge(s) - Sustaining interest and confidence in the near term while ensuring the long-term strategic goals of the work plan are not compromised - Education in Mass Communication, Arts, or Social Sciences is preferred - Strong command of both spoken and written English - Adept at planning, strategising, and networking - Excellent interpersonal skills with a mature, meticulous, and pleasant disposition - ability to engage stakeholders at various levels - Ability to work independently while functioning well in a team - Creative and open to new challenges, with the ability to work well under pressure - Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
