Manager/ Senior Manager, Contracts

As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Contracts in the Infrastructure and Facility Services Division, you will play a key role in a dynamic team that provides contract and procurement support in the development of school campuses. • Conduct procurement of consultancy and construction services, and develop guidelines for the department in this area • Review cost for school development projects to ensure proposed budgets and construction expenditures are value for money • Develop and implement effective processes for proper contract administration within the department • Administer contracts, including assessment of variation costs, verification of on-site work, evaluation of progress claims, and finalisation of accounts • Engage schools, project teams, industry partners and other stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and understanding of contract and procurement policies and procedures • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in quantity surveying or related disciplines • Good working knowledge and understanding of procurement and quantity surveying in the building and construction industry • Strong collaborative, communication, interpersonal and project management skills As part of the processing of your application, you may be required to undergo a medical examination that will be fully paid by MOE.
