Job Responsibilities: Conduct original research on problems in algebraic complexity, with emphasis on GCT, border complexity, Waring/tensor rank, and connections to representation theory and algebraic geometry. Publish research outcomes in leading venues in theoretical computer science and mathematics, and present findings at international conferences and workshops. Collaborate with the PI and other group members on ongoing projects, and help formulate new research directions at the intersection of complexity theory and algebra. Contribute to the intellectual life of the group by participating in seminars, reading groups, and reviewing activities. Mentor and provide informal supervision to PhD and Master's students working on related topics. Assist in the preparation of research proposals, technical reports, and other deliverables associated with the project. Job Requirements: Preferably PhD in Mathematics/Computer Science or equivalent. Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills In-depth knowledge relevant to the project domain. Ability to initiate collaboration research in multidisciplinary team. Oversee and report project progress. Ability and willingness to work some flexible hours.
