Warehouse Operations Technician

Role Summary: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Possess basic written communication skills. Ability to apply concepts of basic math. Basic PC skills. The work environment is very fast-paced and noisy. It is one of constant movements while performing the duties of this job. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight. Essential Responsibilities: Health, Safety and Environment Actively participate in HSE programs as assigned Keep work areas of the facility in a safe, clean and organized manner at all times in accordance with 6S checklist If ever any HSE incident takes place, Stop Work and report immediately to your manager Review all associated ORA’s/HRA’s/MOC’s/Work Permits prior to starting work and exercise Stop Work at any time for safety Health, Safety and Environment Delivery Optimize workflow, warehouse/yard layout efficiency “Lean” Liaise with AMO/Mfg./Service Delivery/Logistics/Quality as needed to ensure on time delivery and shipments Other warehouse and yard duties/projects as assigned Be able to achieve and maintain Competency Assessments as required Perform data entry into respective systems timely & accurately Deliver as outlined in local service level agreement 6S and Lean – Execute 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety) plan Perform physical inventory and asset verification (CC/API) Delivery Qualifications/Requirements: Diploma or equivalent professional certification Must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading Possesses SAP experiences will be added advantage Have a good knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP or ORACLE will be added advantage Be proficient in MS Office with a focus on Excel and Outlook will be added advantage Additional Information : Entitled for overtime 6 months contract Monday to Friday (5 working days per week)
