About the Role We are looking for a meticulous and responsible Accounts Executive to support the Finance team in managing the company's day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting reporting deadlines. Key Responsibilities Handle full or partial sets of accounts, depending on business requirements. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and account reconciliations. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. Monitor customer collections and follow up on outstanding payments. Process supplier payments and ensure timely settlement of invoices. Assist with GST submissions, tax filings, and statutory compliance. Support internal and external audits by preparing the necessary documentation. Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records. Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, government authorities, and other external stakeholders when required. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis where necessary. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards. Perform any other accounting or administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply. Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, MYOB, or Microsoft Dynamics is an added advantage. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Meticulous with excellent attention to detail. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills Strong organisational and time management skills.
