Responsibilities Plan menus and develop recipes to create dishes that meet quality and taste standards Oversee food preparation and plating to ensure presentation and flavor excellence Hire, train, schedule, and mentor sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks to maintain a skilled and motivated culinary team Monitor food and labor budgets, approve product requisitions, and conduct stocktaking to reduce waste and control costs Enforce compliance with health department regulations and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards to maintain kitchen safety and sanitation
