Construction Manager (Iconic Building Project, A1 Main Contractor)

About the client and role Our client is a leading A1 main contractor in the construction industry, renowned for delivering residential, industrial and iconic projects across Singapore. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on building long-lasting relationships with clients and partners, they are looking for a highly skilled Construction Manager to join an iconic building project in CBD area. Key Responsibilities Construction Management: Oversee all phases of the construction project from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets. Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate the construction team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective collaboration and productivity. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that the construction work meets the highest standards and complies with relevant regulations and safety standards. Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures and manage budget constraints effectively, making recommendations for cost-saving measures where possible. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues that arise. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the project stays on track and within scope. Compliance: Ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Requirements: Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with a strong background in overseeing building projects more than 300 million contract value. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent. Experience of managing sub-contractors. Familiarity with Singapore building codes and regulations is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
