Summary: The Programme Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction, coordinating cross-functional teams, proactively managing delivery risks across the project lifecycle, and optimizing delivery processes. Responsibility: Define and execute the delivery strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market-specific needs across diverse geographies. Develop delivery plans that balance scalability, quality, and efficiency while addressing regional and operational nuances. Ensure compliance with global and regional regulatory requirements, accounting for complexities of multi-geography delivery. Lead cross-functional teams spanning multiple geographies, including onshore and offshore delivery centers, fostering seamless collaboration. Align delivery priorities across regions, ensuring global objectives integrate effectively with local market requirements. Navigate cultural and operational differences to optimize team synergy and knowledge sharing across time zones. Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks proactively, including challenges specific to multi-geography implementations. Monitor milestones, budgets, and dependencies across regions and offshore centers, ensuring alignment and accountability. Resolve escalations swiftly, minimizing disruption to delivery timelines and quality outcomes. Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and sponsors, providing transparent updates on progress and challenges related to the core banking implementation. Manage vendor and partner relationships onshore and offshore, ensuring delivery commitments are met and integration across the core banking system is optimized. Implement scalable and adaptable solutions that meet diverse market needs while leveraging offshore capabilities. Integrate lessons learned into future delivery frameworks, optimizing processes for efficiency and impact across geographies. Foster innovation and continuous improvement within cross-regional and offshore teams to enhance delivery outcomes and drive digitization of trade finance processes. Qualification: 20+ years for Executive Director/Executive, managing IT projects in the banking industry. Payments, Trade Finance, Lending, and Markets Exposure to Asia Pacific markets Extensive experience leading large-scale, multi-market platform implementations in banking or financial services, with a strong focus on Trade Finance. Demonstrated ability to manage scope, quality, risk, and budget while balancing competing priorities. Strong leadership skills with a track record of aligning diverse teams and driving accountability. Deep understanding of banking technologies and experience with solutions such as CGI Trade360, FIS ACBS, Finastra GPP, Oracle FLEXCUBE, and Oracle ERP preferred. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting delivery progress to senior executives. Proficiency in managing culturally diverse teams and navigating multi-country implementation complexities. Requirement: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Project management certification such as PMP or CAPM is a plus. Experience or certification in infrastructure domains and technologies, infrastructure security, cloud, and automation is beneficial. Experience working with cross-functional and remote teams. Familiarity with IT systems, SDLC, and technical terminology. Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, Trello, and MS Office Suite.
