Building Maintenance Electrician

Job Description Carry out inspection, maintenance and repair of building electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical faults, power failures and wiring problems. Repair and replace switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers and electrical components. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and facilities. Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and company procedures. Respond to urgent maintenance requests and breakdowns. Maintain proper service and maintenance records. Assist with general building maintenance work when required. Requirements Relevant experience in building electrical maintenance. Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits and troubleshooting. Able to use electrical testing tools and maintenance equipment. Willing to work shifts, weekends or overtime when required. Physically fit and able to work independently. Relevant electrical certification is an advantage.
