Bread Baker

Prepare and bake various types of bread, buns, pastries and other bakery products. Measure, mix, knead, shape and proof dough according to recipes. Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens and dough-processing machines. Monitor baking time and temperature to ensure consistent product quality. Check the freshness, taste, appearance and quality of finished products. Prepare ingredients and maintain sufficient stock for daily production. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery work area and equipment. Follow food safety, workplace safety and company procedures. Minimise ingredient wastage and assist with inventory control. Perform other bakery-related duties assigned by the supervisor. Job Requirements: Relevant bread-baking or bakery production experience is preferred. Knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, proofing and baking techniques. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Physically fit and able to stand for long working hours. Willing to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays. Responsible, hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
