Senior Systems Analyst/Assistant Manager (Enterprise App Solutions)

As a Senior Systems Analyst/Assistant Manager (Enterprise App Solutions), you will bridge business requirements and system implementation by designing, delivering, and supporting integrated solutions, while managing vendors, overseeing project lifecycles, and ensuring reliable system performance and operations. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications and/or tender documentation; Conceptualise, design and propose appropriate technical solutions to meet business needs; Coordinate with the Procurement team to initiate tenders, evaluate vendor proposals, and facilitate the awarding of project contracts; Play the role of project manager, overseeing the project budget and managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of assigned projects and change requests from initiation to closure; Liaise with vendors to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of software systems; Prepare/review and validate functional and technical documentations provided by vendors; Develop test specifications and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); Deploy and implement or promote release to production environment; Provide ongoing system maintenance, including contract/licence renewals, implementation of change requests, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and timely issue resolution; and Work in a team providing rotational 24x7 system support. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or the equivalent; Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Application Development and Maintenance Support; Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience in frameworks such as Angular, Spring Boot and in Unix/Linux based environment; Proficiency in programming (Java, JavaScript, Angular, Unix Shell Scripting), relational databases and related SQL scripting (Oracle, SQL, mySQL); Knowledge in Agile Methodologies, Scrum knowledge of software best practices, such as DevOps (CI/CD) and experience in Tomcat, Active MQ, Kafka, SonarQube and Azure Cloud will be an advantage; Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues; Highly results-driven and task-oriented, with a proactive approach to achieving objectives; Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to work, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently; Strong communication skills, with experience in conducting training sessions and providing end-user support; and A reliable team leader and collaborative team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
