Job Title Group Fitness Coach / Group Class Trainer HIIT | Strength & Conditioning | Functional Fitness | Athletic Conditioning Employment Type Part-Time / Freelance Work Locations Pasir Ris Central Toa Payoh Downtown East About the Opportunity We are expanding our group fitness programme and are looking for dynamic, technically strong trainers who can turn a workout into an experience. We are particularly interested in trainers who can lead or help develop classes in: HIIT and metabolic conditioning Strength and conditioning Suspension training and battle-rope workouts Athletic and sports-inspired conditioning Cardio-strength fusion Functional movement, mobility and core training Small-group performance training This is more than a regular class slot. Strong trainers may be given opportunities to develop signature programmes, lead workshops, train across multiple locations and build a visible coaching profile within our fitness group. Key Responsibilities Deliver energetic, safe and well-structured group fitness classes. Coach participants of different fitness levels using appropriate progressions and regressions. Demonstrate exercises clearly and correct movement technique. Create an inclusive and motivating class environment. Prepare class plans aligned with the intended training outcome. Manage class timing, equipment transitions and participant flow. Conduct participant briefings, warm-ups, cooldowns and safety checks. Monitor exertion and respond appropriately to injuries or discomfort. Support class launches, fitness events and community programmes. Maintain equipment and return the training area to operational readiness. Collect participant feedback and continuously improve the class experience. Where appointed, help develop new class formats and coaching standards. What We Are Looking For Recognised group fitness, personal training or strength and conditioning certification. Current CPR/AED certification is strongly preferred. Experience conducting group classes, team conditioning or small-group training. Strong understanding of movement technique, exercise programming and class safety. Confident communication and an engaging coaching presence. Able to motivate without compromising technique or participant safety. Comfortable coaching beginners as well as experienced participants. Reliable, punctual and able to commit to regular weekly slots. Willing to coach during peak periods, including evenings and weekends. Ability to create or deliver original class concepts will be an advantage. Applicants with an athletic, sporting, dance, martial arts, rehabilitation or performance-coaching background are also welcome. What We Offer Competitive per-class remuneration. New Class Concepts These formats can be introduced as signature offerings and refined with the selected trainers. Class Concept HYBRID 45 A full-body combination of strength blocks, cardio intervals and functional conditioning. Ropes & Resistance Battle ropes, suspension training, resistance bands and bodyweight strength circuits. Athletic Engine Sports-inspired agility, acceleration, power and conditioning adapted for everyday participants. Strong Circuit Technique-led strength stations using dumbbells, kettlebells, cables and bodyweight movements. Power & Pace Alternating strength and cardio intervals designed to build power, stamina and work capacity. Field Ready Modified field-sport drills combining footwork, lateral movement, reaction and functional strength. Lift, Move, Burn Accessible strength training followed by short metabolic finishers; suitable for mixed abilities. Strength Foundations A beginner-friendly class teaching squat, hinge, push, pull, carry and brace fundamentals. Combat Conditioning Non-contact boxing and combat-inspired cardio blended with strength and core work.
