Strategic Development Director

We are seeking a Strategic Development Director to lead and drive resource mobilization efforts for one of our projects across Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing fundraising strategies, cultivating institutional and philanthropic partnerships, and identifying new funding opportunities to support the project's long-term sustainability and its impact. This is a project-based position and working closely with the Client's Board member, Senior Management Team, and cross-functional leaders. Responsibilities Cultivate and manage relationships with foundations, bilateral and multilateral donors, corporate partners, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals. Identify new opportunities and oversee the end-to-end proposal development and reporting processes. Strengthen strategic partnerships and ensure an exceptional donor experience through targeted stewardship and development communications. Lead, mentor, and build capability within the Development team, establishing clear performance goals and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture. Collaborate closely with the CEO, Board, and cross-functional leaders to align development activities with organizational mission and values. Requirements Demonstrated experience leading and managing high-performing, multicultural teams. Strong strategic thinking capabilities combined with a hands-on approach to execution. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders globally. Ability to thrive and effectively manage teams in a fully remote work environment.
