Job Summary You will independently lead integrated scheduling across tender and construction phases, advising management on programme risks, progress, and recovery strategies to ensure successful project delivery and strengthen planning governance. Responsibilities Develop, review, and maintain master programmes across multiple projects to ensure alignment and realistic scheduling Establish Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), sequencing, and critical path to optimize project timelines Lead development of tender programmes, defining construction sequencing, phasing, and resource strategies Present and explain programme logic clearly to internal stakeholders and clients to facilitate understanding and buy-in Track project progress against baseline schedules and identify gaps early to enable timely corrective actions Provide independent, objective schedule reports to management for informed decision-making Validate, analyse, and challenge reported site progress to ensure accuracy and reliability Identify programme risks and recommend mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns Support Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and conduct delay analysis to uphold contractual compliance Maintain accurate records to support contractual and claims requirements Align project schedules with contractual obligations and commercial strategies to ensure project success Review and challenge project resource and procurement plans to identify gaps in manpower, sequencing, and long-lead item planning Advise project teams on optimising schedules and resource allocation for improved efficiency Review Project Managers’ look-ahead schedules, constraints, and recovery plans to ensure robustness Constructively challenge assumptions and escalate key risks to management for proactive resolution Standardise planning processes, tools, and reporting practices to drive consistency and discipline Drive discipline in programme updates, tracking, and reviews to maintain project visibility Report directly to Top Management on planning performance and risks to support strategic oversight Required competencies and certifications Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field 5–8 years of experience in construction planning or project controls Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Strong understanding of construction sequencing, productivity, and contract requirements Analytical skills to interpret complex project data accurately Effective communication and reporting skills to engage stakeholders and management Ability to challenge project teams constructively and professionally Preferred competencies and qualifications None explicitly stated Other Information Why Join Us?
