Clinical Research Assistant

💰 Salary: $17/hour 📍 Location: Buona Vista 🕒 Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Assistant (Locum) to support the day-to-day operations of clinical studies within a Clinical Research Unit (CRU). This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with an interest in clinical research, healthcare, nursing, or life sciences to gain hands-on experience in a research environment. Key Responsibilities Register and assist clinical trial participants and volunteers during study visits. Perform clinical measurements such as vital signs, height, weight, and ECG. Support clinical study activities, including meal serving and nutritional assessments. Prepare study rooms and ensure all equipment and consumables are ready before study commencement. Operate biomedical equipment according to study protocols. Assist doctors and nurses during clinical procedures and study activities. Perform data entry, verification, and quality checks of paper and electronic study records. Support participant screening activities and other assigned clinical research tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of study rooms after study completion. Follow standard safety and infection control procedures when handling biological specimens and clinical equipment. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health, or a related discipline. Prior experience in a clinical, healthcare, laboratory, or research environment will be an advantage.
