About this role

Responsibilities: Conduct end-to-end business process discovery by working closely with different departments, mapping current workflows, and identifying automation opportunities. Develop a prioritized backlog based on impact (time saved, error reduction, and effort required). Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven automation and analytics solutions using Python (Pandas), SQL (SAP Business One on SQL Server), PowerShell, and workflow automation tools (e.g., scheduled tasks, Telegram Bot API), leveraging AI coding assistants to accelerate development while ensuring output validation. Build and deploy machine learning and AI models to support predictive maintenance, process optimization, demand forecasting, and operational decision-making. Develop computer vision and AI-based inspection systems to improve quality control, defect detection, and manufacturing efficiency. Analyse production, inventory, and business data to identify trends, bottlenecks, defects, and continuous improvement opportunities. Integrate AI solutions with existing systems (ERP, sensors, production systems, APIs) to support digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives, including smart factory automation. Strengthen system reliability by maintaining an inventory of all automation assets (scripts, bots, schedules, tokens, and dependencies), reducing system fragility, and implementing monitoring to ensure issues are detected within a short timeframe. Create and maintain clear technical documentation for all processes, ensuring every automation or AI solution is properly documented in a standardized methodology format. Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., Power BI or equivalent tools) to track operational KPIs, production performance, and business impact. Drive user adoption and capability building by training internal teams on AI tools, automation solutions, and safe data handling practices (including PDPA compliance where applicable). Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging AI technologies and tools to improve business operations and maintain competitiveness. Measure and report the impact of AI and automation initiatives, including productivity gains, error reduction, and time savings, to ensure measurable business value. Ensure all AI and automation solutions comply with company data governance, security policies, and operational standards. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Process Automation, or Software Development. Strong ability to analyse business processes, map workflows, and identify automation opportunities. Proficient in Python (Pandas), with ability to read, debug, and enhance existing data pipelines. Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations), with experience querying ERP systems (e.g., SAP Business One on SQL Server). Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) with disciplined validation of outputs. Basic knowledge of Windows automation tools such as Task Scheduler and PowerShell, including network-drive environments. Strong written communication skills, able to produce clear documentation for non-technical stakeholders. Good business understanding in areas such as retail, inventory, and sales processes, with ability to work across teams. Preferable: Experience with Git/GitHub, Telegram Bot API, and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, HTML/PPTX reporting). Preferable: Exposure to DevOps, system monitoring, or automation reliability practices. Language proficiency in English and other regional languages (where relevant) is an advantage. Able to work independently while managing AI solutions from development through deployment and maintenance.
