Product Designer (Government Project / Uiux)

We are seeking an experienced Experience & Interface Designer to create intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging digital experiences for a government platform serving the Muslim community. You will collaborate with product managers, UX researchers, developers, and business stakeholders to design responsive web and mobile interfaces that align with Singapore Government design standards. Working Hours: Mon-Fri Working Location: Central Salary Package: Up to $10,000 (basic)+ AWS Key Responsibilities Design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Produce wireframes, user flows, mock-ups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs. Maintain and evolve the product design system to ensure consistency across digital platforms. Apply Singapore Government Design System (SGDS) components and design patterns where applicable. Collaborate closely with UX researchers to translate user insights into effective interface designs. Work with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications. Design responsive interfaces across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Conduct design reviews and iterate based on stakeholder and user feedback. Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards and Digital Service Standards (DSS). Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and documentation. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Interaction Design, Digital Media, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in UI/UX or digital product design. Strong portfolio demonstrating web and mobile application design. Advanced proficiency in Figma. Experience creating responsive interfaces and interactive prototypes. Strong understanding of design systems, component libraries, and visual design principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience working in Agile delivery teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience delivering Singapore Government or public sector digital projects. Familiarity with the Singapore Government Design System (SGDS). Knowledge of Digital Service Standards (DSS) and accessibility guidelines. Experience maintaining enterprise design systems. Awareness of IM8 security and governance considerations. Experience designing citizen-facing or community-focused digital platforms is advantageous.
