Responsibilities Setup, qualification, and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment. Document engineering improvements, best practices, and lessons learned for future reference. Hands-on assembly and integration of mechanical, electrical, and optical modules. Perform wire harnessing, cable routing, and system integration activities. Develop procedures and work instructions for equipment assembly, inspection, qualification, and testing. Collaborate with Engineering and Software teams to optimize system design, performance, and reliability. Work with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve complex system, process, and production issues. Create test plans, qualification reports, progress updates, and engineering evaluation reports. Support parts verification, inventory coordination, packing, shipping, and material readiness activities. Plan and coordinate the release and transfer of new designs into manufacturing. Lead cross-functional teams involving Manufacturing, Quality, Process Engineering, Software Engineering, and Suppliers to drive successful project execution and issue resolution. Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians on equipment setup, troubleshooting, and engineering best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, yield enhancement, quality improvement, cost reduction, and equipment performance. Lead equipment qualification, process validation, and new product introduction (NPI) activities to support manufacturing readiness. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 8 years of experience in semiconductor equipment, automation systems, manufacturing engineering, or related industries. Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment troubleshooting, inspection systems, and quality methodologies. Good understanding of electromechanical systems, automation equipment, and system integration. Proven experience leading engineering projects, problem-solving activities, and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels. Strong team player with leadership capability. Willingness to travel overseas for customer support, equipment installation, qualification, and field service activities when required.
