Duty Engineer

Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, Singapore Job Summary As a Duty Engineer, you will lead and supervise engineering technicians to maintain smooth equipment operations, prioritize emergency repairs, support engineering projects, and contribute to audit and training programs to ensure seamless resort operations. As a Duty Engineer , we rely on you to: Manage, coach, and supervise engineering technicians to maintain high team performance and operational standards Monitor and maintain all equipment to ensure continuous, smooth operation and prevent downtime Prioritize and execute emergency work requests promptly to minimize impact on resort operations Plan, supervise, and execute engineering projects to support facility maintenance and improvements Support audit processes and participate in training programs to uphold compliance and enhance team skills Operat shifts effectively to ensure uninterrupted engineering support and smooth daily operations Participate actively as a member of the Emergency Response Team to handle crisis situations efficiently We are looking for someone who: Experience in electrical engineering, building maintenance, and repair Previous experience as a Duty Engineer or equivalent role in a hotel or resort environment Relevant experience with building maintenance systems and protocols Skills in crisis management and emergency response handling Willingness to work in shifts We Offer 5-day work week Learning and Development opportunities for career development Medical and insurance coverage Special employee discount within Shangri-La Group Duty Meals and shuttle bus provided If you are the right person, what are you waiting for?
