EV Truck Mechanical Technician / EV Vehicle Mechanic (Electrical)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and responsible EV Truck Mechanical Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and maintenance for electric commercial vehicles and trucks. This role will support workshop operations, troubleshoot vehicle issues, and ensure all repair work is completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair works for EV trucks and commercial vehicles. Repair and replace defective vehicle components including EV battery systems, braking systems, suspension, steering, air-conditioning, drivetrain, and 12V/24V DC electrical systems . Conduct inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of EV charging systems, high-voltage systems, 12V/24V DC electrical circuits , and overall vehicle performance. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and software. Perform troubleshooting, repair, and installation of 12V/24V DC electrical components , including wiring harnesses, relays, fuses, switches, lighting systems, sensors, motors, and control modules. Carry out servicing and repair works according to manufacturer specifications and workshop standards. Support breakdown recovery and emergency repair services when required. Utilize diagnostic equipment to perform fault code analysis and vehicle system checks. Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and repair manuals. Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and proper handling of high-voltage EV systems. Prepare service reports and maintain accurate repair and maintenance records. Maintain workshop cleanliness, proper housekeeping, and safe usage of tools and equipment. Coordinate and work closely with workshop supervisors, service advisors, and technical teams to ensure smooth workshop operations.
