Training Assistant @ Upper Thomson

The Training Assistant is to assist and support the training officers/staff. Core Responsibilities Supports the work done by the Training Officers/staff and supervises clients Food preparation and feeding of clients Assists clients to walk to toilets, cleaning up, and changing diapers for clients as and when necessary Assists in running groups, sessions, outings Any other projects/duties as assigned Core Job Specific Competencies Client- and family-centric High levels of patience and passion for working with adults with disabilities Action Orientation - works hard and maintains high energy; seizes opportunity Time Management - uses time effectively and efficiently; can attend to a broad range of activities Motivating Others - creates a climate in which people want to do their best Core Job Requirements Education Minimum NITEC Certification in disability or senior care related field will be an advantage Experience Experience in the social service sector or healthcare sector will be an advantage Skills Good communication skills Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, caregivers, volunteers, and the public Self-directed and able to work independently
