Training Officer @ Upper Thomson

The Training Officer will be responsible for the daily training, care and services provided for SUN-DAC's clients. Core Responsibilities Trains and assists adults with disabilities in ADLs (activities of daily living), CLSs (community living skills), and pre-vocational skills Attends to the personal needs of these adults and ensure their safety and wellbeing Completes and submits required documentation in a timely manner Works with a multi-disciplinary team to provide an individual care plan for each client Plans and proposes Programme Activity in the classroom as well as festive celebrations Liaises with and updates caregivers on the progress and status of clients, including conducting biannual Caregiver Staff Meeting Maintains organisational cleanliness and flow in a classroom setting Any other projects/duties as assigned Job Requirements Education Minimum NITEC Certification in disability or senior care related field will be an advantage Experience Experience in the social service sector or healthcare sector will be an advantage Skills Good oral and written communication skills Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, caregivers, volunteers, and the public Self-directed and able to work independently
