Guest Relations Executive

The Role We are looking for a personable and detail-oriented Guest Relations Executive to be the welcoming face of our new modern Chinese cuisine concept in Dempsey. This role is central to ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive. As many of our guests communicate in Mandarin, strong spoken Mandarin proficiency is a key requirement for this role, in addition to English, to ensure smooth and effective communication with our guest base. Key Responsibilities Warmly welcome and receive guests upon arrival, managing reservations and seating arrangements Serve as the primary point of contact for guest enquiries, requests, and special occasion arrangements Communicate effectively with guests in both English and Mandarin to ensure clear, personalised service Liaise with the floor and kitchen teams to accommodate guest preferences, dietary requirements, and special requests Handle guest feedback and concerns with professionalism, escalating where necessary Maintain and update guest profiles/preferences for repeat diners where applicable Support VIP and special event guest coordination Uphold the front-of-house area's presentation and ambience standards Assist with phone and online enquiries relating to reservations and dining experience Requirements Prior experience in guest relations, front desk, or a similar guest-facing hospitality role preferred Strong spoken proficiency in Mandarin and English required , to effectively communicate with our diverse guest base Warm, professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills and composure under pressure Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask during peak service hours Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed What We Offer Opportunity to be part of the opening team for an exciting new modern Chinese dining concept Career growth within a growing F&B group with multiple concepts Staff meals and other benefits as per company policy
