Manager, AI Security

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manager, AI Security to lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of AI security strategies within a large enterprise environment. This role is responsible for safeguarding AI technologies, strengthening cyber resilience against emerging AI-related threats, and ensuring AI platforms are deployed securely and responsibly. You will work closely with technology, governance, risk, audit, and business stakeholders to establish robust AI security practices while supporting secure AI innovation across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute enterprise AI security strategies aligned with organisational risk management objectives. Design secure architectures and security controls for AI and machine learning platforms, including generative AI, AI assistants, intelligent automation, and machine learning solutions. Establish AI security governance frameworks based on recognised industry standards and best practices. Lead AI security risk assessments, security reviews, and technical advisory for AI initiatives. Implement security measures to protect AI platforms from threats such as prompt injection, model misuse, data leakage, synthetic identity fraud, AI-enabled phishing, and other emerging attack vectors. Develop and maintain AI-focused security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities. Coordinate AI security testing, including adversarial assessments and red team exercises, and drive remediation of identified vulnerabilities. Monitor the effectiveness of AI security controls and recommend continuous improvements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and service providers to support AI security operations and initiatives. Prepare security updates, risk reports, and recommendations for senior management. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. At least 7–10 years of cybersecurity experience, including 3 years or more in AI security, machine learning security, or ML Security Operations (MLSecOps). Hands-on experience securing enterprise AI solutions, including generative AI, machine learning platforms, or intelligent automation technologies. Good understanding of AI security risks, secure AI architecture, and AI governance principles. Familiarity with recognised security standards and frameworks such as:NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF)ISO/IEC 42001OWASP LLM Top 10MITRE ATLAS Professional cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to present technical concepts and security risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
