Job Summary: Oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting and compliance across the company's business entities. Reporting to the Chief Financial Controller, you will play a key role in financial planning, process improvements, and supporting business performance through accurate financial analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities Oversee the financial and operational activities across multiple business entities. Lead the preparation of sales forecasts, expense forecasts, and gross profit analysis by product. Support budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis. Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate management reporting. Prepare cash flow forecasts and oversee treasury-related activities. Maintain banking documentation, including authorised signatories and banking mandates. Support statutory reporting, tax matters, audits, legal compliance, and internal control processes. Maintain the fixed asset register, including asset tagging, depreciation, and physical asset verification. Prepare GST and withholding tax submissions, and assist with corporate tax filings and tax schedules. Review expense accruals, monitor operating expenses, and oversee purchase order controls. Review and approve journal entries, payment transactions, and other accounting records. Manage finance master data, including cost centres, business units, and chart of accounts. Develop, review, and enhance finance policies, procedures, and operational documentation. Drive continuous improvements to finance systems, processes, and internal controls. Monitor capital expenditure against approved budgets and ensure accurate accounting treatment. Support ad hoc projects and other finance-related duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. At least 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or trading environment. Good understanding of accounting standards, including local GAAP and IFRS. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working within reporting deadlines. Experience with ERP systems is required; exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an advantage.
