Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description & Requirements We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and continuously enhance enterprise DevOps platforms and CI/CD pipelines. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, and enabling high-quality software delivery across multiple application environments. You will work closely with software engineers, architects, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployment processes, improve operational resilience, and drive DevSecOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. What You’ll Be Doing Design, build, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines to support software delivery. Develop deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. Manage cloud-native and containerized application deployments. Build and support Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms. Automate application releases, deployments, and rollback processes. Maintain deployment templates and reusable DevOps components. Troubleshoot deployment issues and support production releases. Implement environment provisioning and platform automation. Integrate security scanning, code quality checks, and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines. Drive DevSecOps practices and improve software delivery governance. Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual operational effort. Standardize deployment processes and engineering best practices. Collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, operations, and security teams. Provide technical guidance on DevOps implementation and operational readiness. Support incident investigations and root cause analysis. What We’re Looking For Required Experience Proven experience in DevOps engineering within enterprise environments. Strong hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines. Experience supporting cloud-based application deployments. Solid understanding of container technologies and orchestration platforms. Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Strong scripting and automation skills. Experience integrating security into software delivery pipelines (DevSecOps). Experience supporting production releases and deployment management. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams. Technical Skills CI/CD platforms (e.g. Git-based pipelines) Source Code Management Release Management Kubernetes Red Hat OpenShift Cloud platforms (AWS preferred) EC2, S3 and cloud networking fundamentals Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools Ansible Python Shell scripting SonarQube Artifact Repository Management Vulnerability Management Incident Management Root Cause Analysis Nice to Have Experience managing enterprise DevOps platforms across multiple application portfolios. Knowledge of Jira and Confluence administration. Experience implementing deployment governance and compliance frameworks. Familiarity with production support and operational readiness activities. Experience improving deployment success rates through automation. Exposure to cloud security best practices and shift-left security initiatives. Experience mentoring engineers and promoting DevOps best practices across teams. Experience working in highly regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.
