About this role
Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all maintenance activities, including Mechanical (fixed and rotating equipment), Electrical, Instrumentation, DCS, PLC, and Automation Systems. Lead plant turnaround (TAR) activities by establishing turnaround committees, planning and coordinating meetings, and ensuring all activities are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Participate in and support various HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) management systems and initiatives. Collaborate closely with Production, HSSEI, Supply Chain, and Laboratory teams to support operational excellence. Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and plant performance. Manage instrument and equipment calibration activities while ensuring all records and documentation remain current. Ensure all explosion-proof (Ex-proof) equipment is properly certified, maintained, and fit for operational use. Support management in preparing annual capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets and propose initiatives to improve equipment reliability and long-term sustainability. Oversee maintenance service contracts and facility-related contractor activities. Manage maintenance work requests through the CMMS platform (NetSuite). Identify training needs and organize competency development programs for the maintenance team. Requirements: Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical industry, with strong exposure to maintenance and project management functions. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, electrical single-line diagrams, control schematics, and PLC/DCS programs.
