Business Growth Manager (Logistics & Freight Forwarding)

Responsibilities: Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the company’s customer base and drive growth within Singapore and the Asia region. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to enhance customer retention and identify opportunities for business expansion. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing enquiries, providing solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential opportunities. Develop sales proposals, presentations, and solutions in collaboration with internal teams and subject matter experts. Manage negotiations with clients, carriers, and service providers to achieve commercially beneficial agreements. Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery and effective customer support. Prepare regular sales performance reports, pipeline updates, and business development progress reports for management review. Develop strategies to increase overseas routing order (RO) shipments and strengthen customer partnerships. Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the logistics and freight forwarding industry. Proven track record in acquiring new clients, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. Strong understanding of logistics solutions, freight forwarding operations, and industry practices. Experience in handling B2B sales, client negotiations, tenders, RFQs, and commercial proposals.
