Position: Baker Location: West Coast (NeWest Shopping Mall, Air-conditioned Environment) Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Baker to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in baking who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional bakery environment. You will receive structured on-the-job training while supporting daily production, equipping you with practical skills and industry knowledge in commercial baking. Working Hours Tuesday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break) Sunday: Half day Rest Day: Monday Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing ingredients (measuring, weighing, mixing) Support production of cakes, pastries, and cookies Operate bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers) under guidance Follow standard recipes to ensure consistency and quality Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards Assist in decorating, finishing, and packaging products Support inventory management, stock rotation (FIFO), and storage Comply with workplace safety and hygiene regulations Work closely with team members and report to the Head Baker Requirements Interest in baking and food production Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Basic food hygiene knowledge is a plus (training provided) What We Offer Structured on-the-job training with hands-on experience Air-conditioned, comfortable working environment Supportive and positive team culture Opportunity for career progression in the F&B industry
