Sheet Metal Engineer

Job Responsibilities: Perform vehicle body repair, fabrication and restoration works. Repair accident-damaged body panels and structural components. Cut, shape, bend and weld sheet metal parts according to engineering drawings. Operate fabrication machinery and welding equipment safely. Inspect completed work to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards. Diagnose fabrication issues and recommend effective repair solutions. Maintain workshop tools, machinery and housekeeping standards. Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations. Collaborate with technicians, supervisors and quality inspectors to complete repair projects on schedule. Perform any other duties assigned by management. Maintain proper use and care of tools and equipment Requirements Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in automotive sheet metal fabrication or vehicle body repair. Strong knowledge of MIG/TIG welding, cutting and fabrication techniques. Able to perform welding, cutting, and panel repair independently Able to interpret engineering drawings and repair manuals. Good analytical and troubleshooting skills. Able to work independently and in a team environment. Willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when operationally required. We appreciate your interest in joining our team.
