Job Summary You will manage procurement of metal materials and related products, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, timely delivery, and strong supplier relationships to support ongoing construction projects. Responsibilities Source and procure metal materials and related products to meet project requirements efficiently Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to secure optimal price, quality, and delivery terms Negotiate competitive pricing and delivery conditions while building and maintaining strong supplier relationships Coordinate with project and site teams to understand material needs and align delivery schedules accordingly Arrange transportation, collection, and delivery logistics to ensure smooth material flow to sites Monitor delivery timelines and proactively follow up with suppliers to guarantee on-time supply Collaborate with workshop and site personnel to facilitate accurate receipt and handling of materials Maintain precise procurement records and documentation for audit and tracking purposes Identify and implement opportunities to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality or delivery Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience in metal works, steel fabrication, construction, or related industries Basic knowledge of metal materials and industry products Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, project teams, and site personnel. Good negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
