We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of mechanical components and systems for innovative products. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams and suppliers to deliver high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective solutions from product development through mass production. Job Description: Prepare and maintain product specifications, hardware requirements, engineering drawings, 2D/3D CAD models, and technical documentation. Design and develop mechanical architectures, components, and sub-systems for new and existing products. Work with suppliers and internal teams to evaluate part manufacturability, tooling feasibility, and production readiness. Conduct design reviews, engineering calculations, and design analyses, including Failure Analysis (FA), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to ensure product reliability and manufacturability. Verify part designs, functionality, and performance throughout product development stages, including Engineering Validation Test (EVT), Design Validation Test (DVT), and Manufacturing Validation Test (MVT). Develop engineering validation plans and perform product testing, evaluation, failure analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with design and quality requirements. Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, test reports, design records, and cost estimations. Support Value Engineering (VE), Cost Reduction (CD), and engineering change activities for new and existing products. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience in product design, product development, or manufacturing engineering. Knowledge of plastic injection molding and metal stamping processes. Good understanding of mechanical design, mechanisms, and product development processes. Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling and interpretation of 2D engineering drawings. Experience with CATIA V5, Pro/Engineer (Creo), IDEAS, or similar CAD software will be an advantage. Familiarity with design verification, product testing, and engineering change processes is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams. Able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. Willing to perform Overtime.
