Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer, Artificial Intelligence to lead the research, design, and engineering of advanced AI systems for software verification and mission-critical software assurance. The successful candidate will develop next-generation AI technologies that combine large language models (LLMs), agentic AI architectures, formal verification, theorem proving, and software engineering to improve the correctness, reliability, and security of complex software systems. The role bridges cutting-edge artificial intelligence research with practical engineering solutions for highly regulated industries including financial services, telecommunications, energy, and enterprise software. Key Responsibilities Design and develop advanced artificial intelligence systems for automated software verification and software correctness. Engineer AI-powered agent frameworks that utilise large language models (LLMs), tool orchestration, and autonomous reasoning to solve complex software engineering tasks. Research and implement AI algorithms that improve software reliability, code quality, and formal correctness. Design intelligent reasoning systems capable of generating, validating, and verifying formal proofs for mission-critical software. Build scalable AI infrastructure supporting theorem proving, formal verification, and software assurance workflows. Develop AI-assisted programming tools that improve developer productivity, software quality, and engineering efficiency. Integrate frontier AI models with formal methods, symbolic reasoning, and verification pipelines. Collaborate with research teams to translate state-of-the-art AI and software engineering research into production-ready technologies. Evaluate emerging developments in generative AI, autonomous agents, program analysis, and formal methods for integration into the company's technology platform. Lead technical architecture decisions for AI systems and provide mentorship to engineers within the company's research and engineering teams. Collaborate with universities, research institutes, and strategic industry partners on advanced AI research initiatives. Ensure all AI systems are designed with high standards of robustness, explain ability, scalability, and security. Qualifications & Experience PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Extensive experience designing and developing AI-driven software systems. Strong expertise in large language models (LLMs), AI agents, agentic workflows, and AI tool orchestration. Strong background in software engineering, formal verification, theorem proving, programming languages, or program analysis. Demonstrated experience translating advanced AI research into production-ready software platforms. Excellent programming skills in languages such as Rust, Go, Python, TypeScript, or other modern systems programming languages. Experience with distributed systems, software correctness, symbolic reasoning, or intelligent automation technologies is highly desirable. Strong research background with publications, open-source contributions, or recognised industry achievements. Excellent analytical, communication, and technical leadership skills.
