Job Responsibilities Support the finance function for the Company's overseas new projects and regional business expansion initiatives. Review supporting documents for payment requests and prepare daily payments. Prepare payment requests through the OA system. Maintain bank receipts and payments records, as well as various expense and statistical schedules. Perform month-end closing, including preparation of bank reconciliations, account schedules, aging analysis, management reports and financial statements. Perform reconciliations with inter-companies, related companies and suppliers. Prepare and/or review consolidated financial statements where applicable. Assist in the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, financial planning and variance analysis. Coordinate and support external audits for the Singapore headquarters and overseas subsidiaries/project companies. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, government authorities and banking partners on finance-related matters. Provide financial analysis and management reports to support management's decision-making. Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members where appropriate. Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Chief Financial Officer. Job Requirements Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. Candidates with a recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) are encouraged to apply. At least 2 years of accounting or finance experience. Candidates with more extensive experience (typically 8 years or above) and strong consolidation experience will be considered for senior positions. Experience in handling full set of accounts is preferred. Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and managing multiple entities and overseas subsidiaries/project companies will be an advantage. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and variance analysis is preferred for senior candidates. Prior external audit experience will be an advantage. Experience in finance within a trading company and/or exposure to trade finance operations (e.g. letters of credit, bank guarantees, import/export documentation or trade financing) will be an advantage. Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) to liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts and overseas offices. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. Knowledge of accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP or Sage will be an advantage. Willing to travel occasionally for business purposes, where required. Able to work independently, meet reporting deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
