Closing date : 16 Jul(12noon) Job Title: Senior Manager (Research) Employment Type : Contract (12 Months) Salary : S$9,000 per month Work Location – to be advised Working Hours • 5 days per week (Mon – Fri) • 8 hours per day • Up to 2 days of work-from-home arrangements, subject to operational requirements Job Description The Senior Manager (Research) will work with tertiary institutions and research institutions to conduct applied research in relevant areas, particularly in Human Factors Engineering (HFE). The successful candidate will use research findings to develop design parameters for new platforms and upgrade existing platforms. Key Responsibilities • Work with tertiary institutions and research institutions to conduct applied research, particularly in Human Factors Engineering (HFE). • Conduct research in relevant areas, particularly in Man-Machine Interface (MMI) and Cognitive Task Analysis. • Use research findings to develop design parameters for new platforms and upgrade existing platforms. • Derive live-virtual training mix for platform training. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Human Factors Engineering, a STEM discipline, or a related field. Relevant experience in Human Factors Engineering, STEM, or a related field, with the ability to support research, testing, or technical projects. Experience coordinating or collaborating with tertiary institutions, research institutions, industry partners, or other stakeholders on research, testing, or innovation-related projects will be an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong report writing, documentation, and analytical skills. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
